About Us
Welcome to the Cat-astrophe Agency, the world’s first and only employment service dedicated to cats with bad behavior. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, professionally disruptive feline services to those who crave a little extra chaos, irritation, and menace in their daily lives. At the Cat-astrophe Agency, we understand that sometimes, the world just needs a little more trouble. Not all cats are cut from the same cloth — some are born with an innate sense of disruption, a love for mayhem, and a knack for creating just the right amount of nuisance. These are the cats we seek to employ. Whether you're tired of the irritating people in your life, or you’ve simply run out of ways to annoy them, our team of misfit felines is ready to provide you with a professional level of mischief, designed to test their patience and bring the thrill of the unexpected to their homes, workplaces, or events.
Lady Penelope Founder of The Catastrophe Agency 1958 - 2020
Lady Penelope’s journey began in 1982, when, after years of experiencing the relentless antics of her own feline companion, Sir Whiskers, she realized something profound: not all cats are meant to be sweet and calm. Some are meant to disrupt. And so, she took a leap of faith, deciding to turn her passion for unruly felines into a business. Lady Penelope believed that there was a market for cats who weren’t interested in cuddles or naps. She knew there were people out there who deserved the chaos and unpredictability that only a cat with bad behavior could provide. This understanding led to the creation of the Cat-astrophe Agency, the world's first employment service for cats specifically trained to wreak havoc.
A Legacy of Cats, Chaos, and Laughter
Under Lady Penelope’s leadership, the Cat-astrophe Agency grew from a small, quirky startup to an international business that placed over 5,000 cats in homes and businesses across the globe. She worked tirelessly to match the right cat to the right customer, always ensuring that each contract was honored with the maximum level of disruption
